Major graphic design, minor photography...read on!?
I am planning on taking those subjects, and I am a sophmore in highschool but anyways I plan to stay in New York for my college careeeer. Anyone know any good schools because I want to start investigating them before it's too late I know it's early and I shouldn't have to worry about this stuff but I'm very excited for college to be honest I have my reasons.. lol thanks in advanced.
Are verbal agreements binding when dealing with photography.?
4 years ago my soon to be brother in law and I made a verbal agreement and he took the photos at my wedding. After 4 years and some harsh words from both sides, my last resort is small claims court. He claims since it is photography the pics are his and he doesn't even have to let me see them. I want my pics but dont want to be made a fool in court...anyone know for sure?
Where can I find a good photography school offering 1-2 year courses?
Anyone knows of a good photography school in Europe where I can study photography for 1 to 2 years? I already know of Leica school in Athens and Germany, and also Ar.co in Portugal by the way does anyone know if any of these schools is good? .
How hard is it to get into NYU for photography?
photography is my passion and i want to pursue it at NYU. i know the admission rate is low already, what are the chances of me getting accepted? what do i need to do in order to prepare myself?

Affordable wedding photography?
I'm looking for a wedding photographer in the Stockton, CA. area with a budget package below $1000. I don't want an engagement session, I don't want a trash the dress session, I don't want all day coverage. I want someone to show up with a camera, do a half hour session with me the bride and my bridesmaids before the wedding, a half hour session with the groom and his men, a half hour session with me and my groom, then the wedding itself 45 minutes, tops , and an hour right afterwards of everyone. Hand me the memory card or mail me a CD DVD later and leave. Three hours, four tops.Please and thank you. P.S. please no lectures about how important photography is, how I shouldn't stimp on the pricetag trust me, if I could afford it I've got my fav photographer already picked out at ten grand. Knowing great photography isn't important doesn't mean I can afford it.
What is the best non-expensive photography camera?
i really want a very good camera i want to be a photographer when i grow up and right now my camera is horrible so what would be a good upgrade? not too expensive like 200 250 dollars but still tell me good ones for the future please. Thanks

How can a band put me on a list so I can take live photography for them?
A famous band is coming to town, and I'm a photographer. I contacted the band asking them if they could put me on the guest list so I could do live photography. A band member replied and told me he doesn't know how to handle the guest list situation. How does this work? Should I contact the venue to be put on the guest list as a photography, or does the band have to?

Does Roosevelt High School in San Antonio, Texas have any Photography courses?
This year I'll be entering the 8th grade at Wood Middle School and I'm really looking forward to high school and college. I'm really into photography and I'm not sure if Roosevelt High School where I'll attend has any photography courses. I already went to their website and looked everywhere but I couldn't find anything on photography. I already started teaching myself photography and you can check out my portfolio at bekahcruz.carbonmade.com . I already plan to go to Savannah College of Art and Design SCAD and get a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree BFA . But if you can find out, I'd really like it if you'd tell me if Roosevelt has any photography courses. Thanks. Best Canon Street Photography Lens?
I'm a newbie in photography armed with a EF 50mm 1.4 lens on a Canon 50D. Recently, i've been hooked on taking candid shots of people and street photography as opposed to those composed landscape studio shots. What lens should I go for next? I'd prefer smaller lens i was thinking of 70 200 2.8L IS lens, but the lens is too bulky and i'd definitely stand out in a crowd . A little bit wider would also be great, as I feel a bit restricted on the perspective that a 50mm gives on a 1.6 crop body.
